Looking for a Financial Specialist

For this effort to move into a serious professional product (as manned and as RPAS) we looking for a financial specialist who has affinity with this topic of small aviation and RPAS.  This person is take some of the work on the elaboration of the Business Plan  out of my hands. He/she can also be involved in the development of project proposals. Once we get into the funding mode after the testing this person can be part of the business and the position can be paid. We urge all of you who are in our network to look around and see who could be taking up such task? So the request

 

Financial controller/expert who is willing to assist with development of the further financial paragraphs of Bplan and of project proposals (eg EU proposals), and who could assist in negotiation with investors and in crowd-funding. It is an excellent job to show your capacities as this project is most innovative and will attract a lot of people.  So if you know someone who would be trustworthy and has the good background and experience, let us know!  We will react to all candidates and have  interviews  with most promising candidates.

 

Certification efforts

We now have contact with EASA and will soon have a meeting on the certification of multicopters with electric drive. The VLR certification concerns small helicopters and we conclude that ca 70% of such certification would be

 

Soldering!

The frame is ready and now the brushless motors, ESC’s and Batteries need to be mounted. Getting all electrical connections soldered is quite an effort. All needs to be done with care and dedication. After some trial and error practicing, we got into a good method on how to make the connections for the 12 ESC’s  and Brushless motors and the 36 batteries. It is still a time consuming job and at this moment we are at an 30 %. Next week we should get things finished.

 

Testing protocol

The testing protocol will be based on the simple baby steps (as you know I am a grand father and Reidars terminology fits well). With the team we have discussed the steps and we thought we can play a little. Starting with 6 motors and low pay load or straight get to the full. What is important is that we test all motor/ESC/battery units before mounting them. After mounting , we will connect the ESC’s to the control unit.  In door on scales we will do first experiments. A full protocol is elaborated for this.
